What is the mini facelift?

The mini facelift differs from the cervical facelift in that it is a less invasive surgical procedure. It may be particularly suitable for people who have slight sagging in certain areas of the face and wish to eliminate it.
It is a widely used surgical procedure due to the immediate results it offers and the limited recovery time required. It is an operation that aims to reposition the tissues of the face, eliminating the wrinkles and folds that form over time.

How does the mini facelift work?

After local anaesthesia and light sedation (or general anaesthesia, depending on the patient’s requirements), an incision is made and the skin is then peeled back, resulting in a less extensive incision and scarring than with a traditional cervicofacial lift. Excess tissue is then carefully removed and returned to its correct position, smoothing out wrinkles and improving the appearance of the face.

What are the results?

As with the cervicofacial lift, the mini facelift aims to restore elasticity and tone to the face for a fresher, younger appearance. Compared to the former, as already mentioned in the previous paragraph, the mini facelift is a less invasive surgical procedure, allowing faster recovery.
