Applicable law

Personal data is processed in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, for people located in the European Union, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

What data is processed and why

Browsing data. The server hosting the site automatically records some technical data (IP address, date and time of the visit, page requested, browser type). This is needed to run the site and protect it from abuse, and is kept for a limited period.

Contact form, email and phone. If you write to me through the form or by email, I process the data you provide (first name, last name, email, phone, preferred location, procedure of interest and message) only to reply to your request and arrange a consultation. Please do not include detailed medical information in the form: we will discuss it during the consultation. The data is kept for as long as needed to handle your request and, if you become a patient, in line with the legal requirements for medical records.

Who receives the data

Your data is never sold or passed on to third parties for commercial purposes. It may be processed by technical providers that host the site and forward form messages, who are bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations. If a provider is based outside Switzerland or the European Economic Area, data is transferred only with appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses.

Cookies

The site does not use advertising or profiling cookies. Fonts and images are hosted on the site itself, with no connection to external services such as Google Fonts. Location maps open on Google Maps only if you choose to click the link.

Your rights

You can ask at any time to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its processing, receive it in a readable format, and withdraw any consent you have given. Simply write to info@drvottero.com. You also have the right to contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, if you live in the European Union, the supervisory authority in your country.
