PRP is one of the latest techniques for tissue biostimulation (treatment of unsightly scars, facial skin rejuvenation or thinning hair, for example). This technique involves the use of PRP (platelet-rich plasma), obtained by centrifuging a simple blood sample.
How does prp work?
PRP is injected with a fine needle into specific areas of the skin (e.g.: the peri-ocular area, forehead or cheekbones, etc.). It does not require social isolation or local anaesthesia and is generally considered painless.
PRP can improve damaged or simply fragile tissue, restoring a youthful appearance to the face thanks to the improved skin tone induced by the growth factors contained in PRP.
